It's More Than a Headshot!

Professional Portraits are the art of using high-quality images to show your face to your potential future customers and clients.

Using professional photos to present yourself online to your clients can take your profile to the next level.

3 important things to consider when you're having a professional portrait session.

1. CLOTHING, WHAT SHOULD YOU WEAR?

It's crucial to feel comfortable with your outfit. Wearing something that boosts your self-assurance is always a great idea. As a general guideline, consider what you would wear when meeting a client or the uniform in which you work. This gives clients a truthful representation of who they are buying from

2. HAIR & MAKEUP

When it comes to hair and makeup for a shoot, my suggestion is to prioritise your comfort. There's no need to apply extra makeup or style your hair differently than you normally would. As your photographer, I recommend that you look like yourself so that your clients can get to know you better. This will help them feel more comfortable when they meet you for the first time.

3. BACKGROUNDS

Consider what you want as the background for your image. The backdrop should be simple, not distracting, and complement the image. You can use a plain white wall, a natural setting, an environmental portrait in your workplace, or a street mural as your background. It's important to brainstorm the style and message you want to convey to your audience.
