Photography is subjective, and everyone has their own perspective. Whether you're a professional, amateur, or just enjoy taking pictures, there are many reasons why you might choose to capture a moment. We all want to hold onto images for different reasons. We never know when a loved one will pass or move away suddenly and unfortunately, our memories can only hold so much information from the past. This is where a documentary or photojournalism approach becomes essential in preserving our memories for the future.

I believe that beauty and perfection come in many different forms, not just the conventional ones. In today's society, there is a lot of pressure to appear flawless, especially on social media. However, this is not realistic or healthy. It is important to set an example for future generations and show them that imperfections are a natural part of being human.

Family photography with a documentary approach is more than just capturing a candid moment. It involves telling a story and exploring the human experience on a deeper level. By observing and analysing each situation, we can create visual representations that convey a narrative.

As a documentary and photojournalistic storyteller, my aim is to capture and preserve your family's history, flaws and all, for generations to come. I steer clear of organised photo shoots of people in flowing dresses against sunset backdrops as they do not convey the essence of your personal story. Instead, I strive to offer you something more unique and genuine that captures a slice of your personal history, highlighting the special bonds you share with your loved ones. I am committed to conveying your story in a profound and meaningful way.

Sometimes, connections may not lead to traditionally picturesque moments, but they can evolve into meaningful real-life connections.

Documentary photography goes beyond capturing moments at home. It can also be used to document weddings and create branding material. Ah huh!! That's right, I can follow you around at work doing your thang to create an endless amount of high-quality images for your socials and website.

When I come along to your wedding, I become one of the guests to get the most natural photos of you and your loved ones.

We all have a unique story to share, regardless of whether we're tying the knot, working, or simply relaxing at home. Using pictures to convey our experiences is a powerful tool, as it's a language that transcends cultural boundaries. It's essential to document these moments authentically to avoid any regrets in the future.
